How do I request a custom license?

For an existing pattern: open the pattern and tap Request Custom License.

For a new pattern (a commission): open the artist's profile and tap Work with [artist name].

In the request, tell the artist:

• What you need. A short description. For a commission, give it a working title and describe the pattern.
• Where it can be used. Pick industries and products from the list. If a product is missing, mention it in your request.
• Exclusivity. Not exclusive, Exclusive for my products, or Exclusive everywhere.
• How long. 1, 2 or 3 years, or Forever. The license starts on the day you pay.
• Countries. Worldwide, or the countries you choose.
• Scale of use. Required. Pick the size of your production run, or Not sure yet.
• Optional details: where it will sell, colors, production details, and reference images.

You do not name a price. The artist reads your request and sends one offer with the price. Nothing is charged until you accept the offer and pay.

Do not put links, email addresses or other contact details in a request. They are blocked.
