Why do custom deals stay on Patterned?

Everything about a deal happens on Patterned: the request, the offer, the agreement, the payment and the files. This protects both sides — your money is held until you accept the files, and every agreement is on record.

Our Terms of Service say:

• Do not share email addresses, phone numbers, links or other contact details in messages, requests or offers. They are blocked.
• Any licensing, custom work or commission between users who met on Patterned must be agreed and paid on Patterned, for 12 months after you first make contact.
