How does payment for licensing purchases work?

If one of your designs has been licensed, congrats! 🥳

You will first receive a receipt letting you know that your design has been licensed.  In this receipt you will see a breakdown of funds captured by Stripe from the buyer, any sales tax/VAT, and our platform fee.  Following this you will see "Your Earnings".

Please note that your earnings will be available for payout after a 7-day security hold. This hold helps protect against chargebacks and ensures secure payment processing. Final payment to you will be subject to any fees associated with your preferred payment method on Trolley.

After this security hold, you will receive an email from Trolley that will look similar to this, stating details of the final payment to you!
