As an artist, what platform fees apply to my licensed patterns, and how much will I earn?
When you sell a license, Patterned keeps a platform fee and you receive the rest.
- Pro artists keep 75% of the price (25% platform fee).
- Free artists keep 65% of the price (35% platform fee).
Sales tax or VAT is added on top of the price and paid by the buyer. It does not reduce what you earn.
Example: a $100 license
- Pro artist: you receive $75.
- Free artist: you receive $65.
Pro artists can lower their fee further through the License Rewards Program.
Custom deals use the same split. In the offer builder, You receive shows your share. Only you see it.
Patterned pays all card-processing fees. Your Trolley payout method may charge its own fee.
