How can I set up and access my Trolley seller account?
We’ve migrated away from Stripe Connect and are now using Trolley, a platform purpose-built for global creator payouts and tax compliance.
Why this is better for artists:
- More payout options, including PayPal and Venmo!
- Support for more countries, including Ukraine 🇺🇦
- Proper tax handling, with accurate withholding where required
- End-of-year tax forms handled for you (1099s and 1042-S)
- A more scalable system as more brands use the licensing platform
- Improved infrastructure while staying fully secure and compliant
What this means for you:
To receive any future payments for licensing, and for us to issue required 2025 tax forms, all artists must have a completed Trolley account by Friday, February 6th.
Even if you previously entered your bank details in Stripe Connect—or have already signed up in Trolley—this step is still required.
How to set up your seller account on Trolley:
- Visit the Become a Seller page on Patterned
- Click “Get Started with Trolley”

How can I access my Trolley account after its set up?
Simply visit the "Seller Account" page to access a button which will take you directly to your Trolley account portal!
