How do I take on a commission?

A commission is a new pattern you make from a brand's brief.

  1. The brand sends a brief from your profile.
  2. You send an offer: the files, the colorways (1–6), how many concept sketches you show first (0–4), revision rounds, delivery time, and one design fee that includes the license.
  3. You both sign. The brand pays. Patterned holds the money.
  4. Tap Post concepts and upload your sketches (JPG or PNG previews, not the working file).
  5. The brand chooses a concept. Build the finished pattern from it.
  6. Tap Upload final files. When the brand accepts, your payout is queued.

Tip: this is new artwork. Price the design time, not only the license.
