What is a pattern hold, and should I accept it?

A brand can ask you to hold a pattern while it decides. If you accept, the pattern is off the market for 5 days — no other brand can license it.

• You can accept or decline the hold.
• Declining the hold does not decline the request.
• While the hold lasts, you can still receive other requests.

Holds are only for existing patterns, not for commissions.
