When does a conversation with a buyer start?

Brands can reach you in a few ways. A conversation starts when:

1. A buyer taps Message Artist on one of your patterns.
2. A buyer buys a license (a conversation opens after checkout).
3. An invited brand sends you a custom licensing request. Each request has its own deal thread.

Just looking at the licensing options on a pattern does not start a conversation.
