Can I license patterns on Patterned that are already licensed elsewhere?

Yes you can!  

However, there are a few important conditions that really pertain to just exclusivity...

• If a design is already under an exclusive license outside of Patterned, you cannot offer it as an exclusive license on Patterned.
• If a design is licensed exclusively on Patterned, it's your responsibility as the artist to remove it from licensability on other platforms.  You may continue to display the design in your portfolio (on Patterned or on sites you fully own), but it cannot be offered for license or sale anywhere else once exclusivity has been granted on Patterned.
• If you have granted prior licenses for a design via another platform, you are required to fully disclose the scope of those licenses to any potential buyer on Patterned before offering an exclusive license on Patterned.

Ultimately, it's your responsibility as the artist to manage licensing for your patterns.  Please review our Seller Agreement for full details.
