How can I make a collection?

Creating a collection on Patterned is easy—and it’s a great way to organize your patterns by theme, color, or any style you choose.

Here’s how to get started:

Upgrade to Patterned PRO

Collections are a feature for Pro Artists only, so we highly recommend you check it out and upgrade - it's well worth it! Visit patterned.com/pro to learn more.

Go to Your Profile

From the main menu, click your profile icon and select your name

Click “Create Collection”

Navigate to the collections tab and click "Create a Collection". Give it a title (e.g., “Floral Series” or “Geometric Neutrals”), and a description (optional), click Save.

Add Patterns to Your Collection

Once your collection is created, you can enter "Edit Layout" mode to patterns, mockups, or even solid colors.

Reorder and Edit

Within a collection, you can adjust sizes, positions and overall layout of your collection bento-grid style to best reflect your creative vision!

Visibility

You can share your brand new collection with others by utilizing the automatically generated custom link to your collection's page, or make it available public visibility. To make any collection publicly viewable, it must contain a minimum of 3 image blocks and a banner image.

Pro tip: Collections are a powerful way to tell a visual story. Many designers use them to pitch themed work to potential licensing partners or highlight seasonal content.
