How do you protect my pattern designs that I upload?

We hear from artists often that they are concerned about their designs being stolen, or misused after they place them online. We've taken steps to maximize protection of your designs on our platform.

How do we do this?

Our platform securely stores your pattern tile in an obfuscated and distorted manner so what is stored on our servers does not reflect what is shown on the web site. This is to help protect your designs.

When you upload your design to our platform, we manipulate your design so it cannot be used. When we present your design on our web site we are able to "unscramble" it so it looks just like when you first uploaded it 😉

Furthermore, we also have protections in place to help prevent designs from simply being downloaded from the site.
